Oh man… I am so excited! A couple years ago I had a vintage Lamy 2000 with a BB Stub nib worked on by my friend and fellow Brother in Christ Pendleton Brown. For some reason I can now no longer remember, I later traded the pen to another friend and have regretted moving that pen ever since. Well, a short time later we had a house fire and I lost all my pens so I am glad the vintage Lamy survived, even though I lost a small flock of Pelikans in the ordeal.
Well… today I pulled the trigger on another vintage 1966 Lamy 2000, this time with a B nib that I will again be sending to Pendleton to work his magic on! I just got back into FPs after about 18 months of being away due to the fire, other hobbies, family commitments, etc.
Hopefully this one survives the trip from overseas and quickly joins the other two in my daily rotation again!
